Onkar is a licensed engineer with a wealth of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning for diverse development projects. His background includes traffic engineering support for mixed-use, residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments across Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. He has a strong track record of guiding development projects to successful completion and securing prompt agency approvals.

He specializes in traffic studies, signal design, traffic modeling and simulation, and multimodal planning, with experience supporting highway, corridor, and intersection improvement projects. Onkar has led and contributed to a wide variety of transportation projects across multiple states, including Traffic Engineering, Master Planning, Multimodal Traffic, Safety, and Parking Studies, Traffic Control Plans, Traffic Management Plan, Traffic Signal Design and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Design, delivering data-driven solutions that enhance mobility and safety.

Prior to Lochmueller, he served as Vice President of Traffic Engineering at another firm where he oversaw operations, project management, and business development while mentoring multidisciplinary teams. He has directed efforts on more than 450 projects pertaining to transportation, traffic engineering and parking engineering. His technical expertise includes SYNCHRO, VISSIM, HCS, AutoCAD, TransCAD, ArcGIS, and other industry-standard tools.
